Day 1: Cape Town

Be met on arrival at Cape Town International Airport by a professional guide and private transfer to the hotel at The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Afternoon at leisure for shopping at the Waterfront. Accommodation at Holiday Inn Cape Town Waterfront or similar - bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Camps Bay, Cape of Good Hope Reserve, Stellenbosch

Full Day Cape Highlights tour, travelling via Camps Bay, Hout Bay, and Chapman's Peak to the Cape of Good Hope Reserve. After enjoying stunning views from the highest point, continue towards Simonstown and Muizenberg. After lunch (not included), sample some South African wines at a local wine estate. Travel through the University town of Stellenbosch before returning to the hotel in the early evening. Please note: the drive along Chapman's Peak is subject to the road being open. Day 3: Swellendam, Klein Karoo, Oudtshoorn

Depart Cape Town via Sir Lowry's Pass. After travelling the plateau of expansive apple orchards in and around Grabouw, arrive at the charming town of Swellendam and continue through the folded sandstone mountains of the Huis River and Tradouw Passes.

The true diversity of landscapes is highlighted through the ever-changing semi-desert areas of the Klein Karoo. Visit the towns of Barrydale and Calitzdorp en route to Oudtshoorn. Enjoy a hearty dinner at a superb local restaurant famous for its ostrich fare and fine wines. Accommodation at: De Opstal Country Lodge or similar - dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Day 4: Oudtshoorn, Mossel Bay, Knysna

After breakfast, start the day with a visit to the world famous Cango Caves for a fully guided tour. Time permitting an optional tour of the Crocodile and Cheetah Park is also available. Leaving Oudtshoorn, visit a local ostrich farm for a guided tour. Continue over the Robinson Pass to Mossel Bay. Send a postcard to friends or relatives from the famous Post Office Tree before visiting the Diaz and Maritime Museums with relics of famous explorers.

Scenic drive via Dolphin Point to Wilderness and on to South Africa's 'oyster capital', Knysna. After checking into your Waterfront hotel, freshen up for a superb dinner at a local restaurant on the Knysna Waterfront.
